Now even relatively simple things require a lot more code, and aren t anywhere close to as intuitive as they used to be. ActionScript has grown up a bit, and is a lot more like a real scripting language, but at the cost of being harder to understand for non-coders. Long term, this is probably a good thing for Flash, it ll encourage more development of serious applications with Flash. Really complicated stuff is much simpler now. But it s going to cut into the casual or lite developer, the designer that dabbles in code as a way to pull off cool effects or visual stunts.
